The Colbyettes, founded in 1951, are Colby College's oldest all-women's a capella group. This CD includes 17 songs spanning from Fall 2008 to Spring 2010 with highlights such as "Love is a Battlefield," "Africa," "Destiny's Child Medley" and many, many more!

Jordan Messan Benissan is a traditional drummer from Togo and a member of the music department at Colby College. Mixing intricate beats and rhythms, Benissan plays a thoughtful and spiritual blend of music.
His first CD, Drumming Through the Spirit of My Ancestors, has been widely played and was adopted by the Hennepin County Library in Minneapolis as a teaching resource. Some of his performances include an opening show for the West African drummer Babatunde Olatunji, a performance for a national NAACP Conference and performances for the Mayo Clinic's Multicultural Program.

The Casco Bay Tummlers, from Portland, Maine, have been performing klezmer music for over fifteen years, playing as featurend performers at festivals in Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Slovenia, and the US. Journey, their third album, blends traditional 20th century tunes with contemporary pieces.
